A very traditional Scottish theme is featured in The Waverley's bar and restaurant with various claymores, swords and targes hanging on the walls and the floor covered with the old favourite tartan carpet. The restaurant offers an appetising menu based on locally sourced food and includes some of Scotland's favourite and classic meals. The bar was winner of the CAMRA Forth Valley Pub of the Year 2006 and stocks a fabulous selection of regular and guest ales that are constantly changing.
Accommodation at The Waverley comprises 10 fully en suite beautifully decorated rooms - 5 doubles, 2 family rooms, 2 singles and 1 suite. Each room is equipped with flat screen television providing Sky TV, hospitality tray and bathroom amenities. The tariff includes a full breakfast. The hotel's other facilities include a TV lounge showing all major sporting events; a function room to the rear of the building which can seat approximately 60 theatre style, or 50 persons dining; and an impressive Beer Garden.

Callander and the Trossachs offer superb fishing opportunities.
Salmon and sea trout are to be found on the famous Loch Tay at Killin, as well as a string of brown trout lochs in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Boat fishing can be found at Lochearnhead.
Pike fishing is available on Loch Venachar and one or two other local lochs in the area.
The Local Rivers Leny, Dochart and Teith provide excellent salmon and brown trout fishing. Local Fishing Shop James Bayne provides everything you need to fish whether you are a novice or pro.

Mountain biking and cycling in the Trossachs is a great way of seeing the best of the scenery in this part of Scotland. Cycling from Callander will suit all tastes and all levels of fitness.
The cycle track at Loch Katrine offers glorious scenic beauty while the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park has Britain’s largest network of off-road cycle tracks.
The relatively safe, quiet roads off the main routes offer more leisurely family cycling.
Bikes can be hired on an hourly or daily basis from several cycling centres, two of which are in Callander, and one at Loch Katrine in the heart of the Trossachs.
With many walks to choose from, ranging from light strolls to more strenuous climbs, all against a backdrop of breathtaking mountain scenery and spectacular waterfalls, Callander really is a walker’s paradise.
